Print Guide
We Print in A Series
All prints purchased from Piston and Print used the standard A Series size guide. We offer our prints from A4 – A0. The standard A Series sizes are:
A0 1189 x 841 mm / 46.8 x 33.1 in
A1 841 x 594 mm / 33.1 x 23.4 in
A2 – 594 x 420 mm / 23.4 x 16.5 in
A3 – 420 x 297 mm / 16.5 x 11.7 in
A4 – 297 x 210 mm / 11.7 x 8.3 in
Choosing Your Print Size
Most frames are a set size normally reflecting the A Series. However, some frames are shaped differently. If you are not sure how an image will look in a certain frame, please email us for support. If you have purchased a frame with a white insert, please take note of this as you will need to choose your print for the size of the insert, not the frame.
High-Quality Prints
Our prints are printed on high-quality paper. As standard we offer 260 GSM and on certain prints a fine art paper of 310 GSM. We do not offer canvas printing as we feel the material does not reflect the colours and vibrance offered by our images.
Printing in A0+
We aim for quality and offer a range of sizes which we are comfortable with that will withhold the quality of our prints. We recommend A1 as the largest size. We do offer A0 printing but cannot guarantee sharpness across every image as some images where photographed before high pixel counts. Before printing in A0 please speak to a member of our team.
Print on Demand
All our prints are printed on demand. This ensures that quality of the image will not degrade from being rolled up and stored and rather than batch printing , each print is individual and can be checked for quality before shipping. Due to this being a custom item, all sales are final and returns are not accepted.
Delivery
All our prints are produced in the UK. We do not import from over seas suppliers and will be delivered direct to your door via the Royal Mail once your print is ready.
Odd Sizes
Are you looking for an odd size? To keep production simple, we use a set standard. However, we are always happy to accommodate. Please email for pricing.
